Hello everyone, We are setting up this page for friends and family who would like to support the Murphy family during an incredibly difficult time. Denise and Jim have faced more than their share of setbacks over the past few years, yet they continue to show up with strength, faith, and determination. It is truly inspiring how they always get back up and keep going. This week has brought even more challenges. Grandma Denise underwent major back surgery on Monday. This was her eleventh surgery, and she will not be able to return to her usual role of caring for the family right away. Just days later on Thursday, Grandpa Jim was involved in a serious accident near NN and is now at Lakeland where he will require extensive therapy and recovery time. On top of this, their son Travis recently had a brain tumor removed, and Mellissa continues to face ongoing complications from leukemia. As you can imagine, this is an overwhelming season for the Murphy family. One way we can come together to support them is by organizing a meal train. Meals, likely long term, would help ease the daily burden and allow them to focus on healing and being together.
