From Jacob & Kassidy- It is with the greatest joy that we welcomed our 7 lb 11 ounce newest addition, Nash Howard, into this world on Monday May 19th at 11:17 AM. Sometimes with each new blessing, life brings us new and unexpected challenges. Our sweet baby Nash was born with Down Syndrome as well as a pretty serious congenital heart defect that is going to require surgery to fix in a couple of months. Although it’s not what we expected when we initially started out on this journey, we are choosing to trust in the all-knowing and ever present goodness of God. We know that God’s hand has been ever present with us from the very beginning of this pregnancy, watching over and protecting our miracle boy. He is truly a living, breathing testament to God’s faithfulness, love, and grace.
