It was supposed to be a routine colonoscopy. It was not! I have been diagnosed with late 2 early stage 3 colon cancer. I will be having surgery on June 12th to remove a golf ball size tumor and some lymph nodes. They are doing a resection of approx 6 inches of my ascending colon. I will be in the hospital for several days and then come home with a pain pump to recover. Then I find out if I will need chemo or radiation. The doctor says 6 to 8 weeks to recover from surgery. I handle all of the meals in our home most of the time and am going to be out of commission. Angelo and Victoria know how to eat. Lol. If you are able to help we would appreciate the help. Thank you.
