If you're here, thank you. Truly. This season has brought more change than we could have imagined. Over the next few weeks, our family is navigating my surgery, caring for my mom from a distance, recovering at home, and making our long-planned move from Lake Stevens to Spokane, all at the same time. While we're excited for what's ahead, we're also learning to accept something that's a little uncomfortable for us: help. Daniel and I have always been the kind of people who put our heads down and figure things out on our own. But over the years, so many of you have become more than friends. You've become family. It didn't feel right to keep saying, "We're fine," when so many of you have been asking how you can help. Since so many of you have reached out, our friend Anna decided this page simply had to happen. We're grateful she gave us the little push we needed. Because I'll be recovering while we're living between homes for part of this transition, traditional meal drop-offs may be difficult for us to coordinate. The most helpful gifts right now are grocery, restaurant, or gas gift cards (so mobile and no box needed). They give us the flexibility to feed the family when and where we need to, whether that's picking up dinner after a long day, stocking the fridge, or grabbing groceries in our new community. If you'd rather send a meal, we're grateful for that too. We just ask that you check the calendar first so we can make the most of every act of kindness. More than anything, your encouragement, prayers, texts, and support mean the world to us. This move is the start of a new chapter for our family. Getting there has been a little more complicated than we expected, but we're reminded every day that we have people who care deeply about us. Thank you for loving our family so well. We can't wait to welcome you to Spokane and share this next chapter with you. With gratitude, **Lisa, Daniel, Ben, Gabe & Georgia** And Poppy
Thank you so much for being here and for supporting our family during this season. We truly appreciate every kindness, big or small. Because we're recovering from surgery while moving to Spokane, gift cards are the most helpful way to support us right now. They give us the flexibility to grab groceries, pick up dinner after a long day, or fuel up as we settle into our new home. Some of our family's favorites include: 🍽️ Restaurants DoorDash or Uber Eats (always a great option!) Panda Express MOD Pizza 🛒 Grocery Stores Trader Joe's Costco Walmart Fred Meyer Whether you send a meal, a gift card, a text, or a prayer, please know we're incredibly grateful. Thank you for helping make this transition a little easier for our family.
