π Supporting Baby Elsie & the Stamps Family Sweet Elsie Anna Marie Stamps made her entrance into the world a little earlier than expected on August 5th, arriving 6 weeks early at a mighty 4 lbs. 12 oz. and 16 inches long. Though she may be tiny, she is already showing everyone just how strong she is! π Elsie is doing great and making wonderful strides each day as she grows stronger in the NICU. Mom is also doing well and recovering, and we are incredibly thankful for how well they are both doing. For at least the next few weeks, Mom and Dad will be spending much of their time traveling back and forth to downtown Nashville to be with Elsie while she grows and works toward the biggest milestone of all β coming home to her big sister Ella Jane and big brother Eli. A NICU stay brings a lot of unexpected logistics and expenses along with it. We created this page as a simple way for friends and family to surround the Stamps family with love and help make these next few weeks a little easier. If you would like to help, there are several ways to do so through this page. Gift cards and donations can help cover gas for the trips to Nashville, meals while at the hospital, parking, diapers, preemie clothes, baby necessities, and the many little expenses that come with having a baby arrive six weeks early. πΎ Help With Buddy There is also an option on the calendar to help with their sweet dog, Buddy! He is a big teddy bear who just needs a little extra love and attention while his family is spending long days at the hospital. Signing up to walk Buddy, spend a little time with him, or help care for him is another incredibly meaningful way to support the family. Taking one small responsibility off Mom and Dad's plate gives them a little more time to focus on Elsie without having to worry about their furry family member at home. Whether you give a gift card, help with Buddy, say a prayer, or simply check in on the family, every act of kindness is appreciated more than you know. Most importantly, please continue to pray for Elsie, Mom, Dad, Ella Jane, and Eli as they navigate the next several weeks. We are so thankful for the progress Elsie is already making and can't wait for the day this sweet girl gets to leave the NICU and head home to her family. π Thank you for loving on the Stamps family and supporting them through Elsie's NICU journey.
