Katelyn has been diagnosed with Invasive ductal carcinoma, triple negative Breast Cancer, Stage 2. The treatment plan ahead includes chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and immunotherapy. She will start chemo 2 weeks from today with treatments lasting 6 months. It’s going to be a long journey, but we are committed to facing this one day at a time. She is incredibly strong, and I know she will fight this with everything that her stubborn/ loving self has and my stubborn/ loving self will be right beside her. But this will also take a toll, and there will be times when she won’t have the energy to be as present and answer the phone and messages as she usually is so feel free to reach out to myself or family.
