Keep the Troyer Train going!

Grand Rapids, MI

Story

Hi friends and family! As most of us know, the Troyers have been through an unexpected whirlwind recently. Joe shared that he was diagnosed with Merkel Cell Carcinoma just a couple months ago. He underwent surgery in early November and will be starting radiation in the coming days to hopefully kick this cancer's ass! Janis' coworkers and friends at Douglas J were kind enough to put together a meal train after surgery, but that's about to conclude. I know a lot of us want to help, but don't know how, so I figured we could pick up where they left off! Please pay special attention to the meal requests and restrictions below. The radiation will cause Joe to essentially have a severe sunburn on the inside and outside of his throat, so what we make and how we make it matters! If cooking/meal prep isn't your thing, a Doordash or Meijer/Instacart gift card also goes a long way. ***All meals will be porch drop off only.*** If you have well wishes or special instructions for your meal, please include a written note with your drop off. Any questions about logistics, please contact me (Megan 616-648-7437) first to try and troubleshoot, before texting Janis or Joe. Thanks in advance for your contributions and support! Let's send all of our love directly to the tummies of the Troyers!
