Honoring the Life and Legacy of Tena With heavy hearts, our family shares the passing of our beloved mother, Tena. After a long and difficult medical journey, our family made the decision to allow Mom to pass naturally, peacefully, and with dignity. She was surrounded by love, and we are grateful that we were able to honor her wishes through the end of her life. Even in death, Mom continued to give to others. Through organ and tissue donation, her two kidneys were donated to two recipients in Kentucky, and she was also able to donate her corneas, skin, bone, and adipose tissue. Her cornea donation has the potential to restore sight to two people. Knowing that parts of her will continue helping others brings our family comfort during an incredibly difficult time. How You Can Help As our family prepares to celebrate Mom's life and lay her to rest, we have created this page for family, friends, and loved ones who have asked how they can support us. Financial contributions will help with funeral and cremation expenses, memorial service expenses, her urn, and other final arrangements.
