Langley Family Meal Train

Greenville, NC

W
Story

Felecia on FB: Chris Langley and I are overwhelmed by the love and support we are receiving from our friends, family, coworkers, church body, and strangers. We can't thank everyone enough for reaching out and continuing to reach out. It is helping keep us on our feet. I woke up and had dreams the first 2 nights singing praise and worship songs to God. The devastation is impossible to explain how it feels for us both BUT GOD.... The cross left on the wall is sheeteock that didn't burn. We wrote scriptures on our house while it was under construction and 4 were left standing. Every piece of furniture in the home was completely gone but my grandmother's secretary desk stood there untouched. My daughter sifted through the ashes and found my necklace with my grandmother's fingerprint on the heart and mine. Only piece of jewelry not gone. All I could do is cry about my kids photo albums when they were growing up and at 1am the fire fighters brought them out of the home. The fire went in front of them, above them and behind them. The God's Promises book was left in perfect condition. Little gifts from God letting us know he is with us keeps me moving forward and not falling into a depression. We lost so many special memories from mission trips, keepsakes from our kids and grandkids, bibles, journals, etc. BUT GOD. He is with us and keeps sending his army to hold us up. Love you all.
