As you may or may not know, our beloved friend - Christi had a liver transplant about 3 years ago. Lately she has experienced extreme fatigue, feeling lightheaded or fainting when she stands up and her Ferratin level is extremely high. She is having a biopsy tomorrow to see if she needs another liver transplant or if there is a secondary treatment available. A few of us has been bringing her and her daughter, Jayci meals since she got home from the hospital last week. We have people signed up until Tuesday. If she is home after tomorrow, it would be great if others could start bringing them meals beginning Wednesday (6/3/26). I’m starting this just to get feelers/interest out. Feel free to sign up now. If something changes and they decide to keep her tomorrow, of course I will let everyone know and we can make adjustments, if needed. Hopefully she will be home after her procedure tomorrow.
There are no dietary restrictions at this time - just nothing very spicy.
