Meals for Kerri Nykoluk and Family

Story

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out on behalf of Kerri as she prepares for an upcoming surgery and recovery period. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer and, after careful consideration and medical guidance, has made the decision to undergo a double mastectomy. During the procedure, lymph nodes on the left side will also be removed to evaluate and help prevent any spread of disease. Following surgery, her care team will determine whether radiation therapy will be needed as part of her treatment plan. While that decision will come after surgery, it’s possible she may need additional treatment in the weeks ahead. As you can imagine, recovery from a double mastectomy—especially with lymph node removal—can be physically demanding and will require time, rest, and limited activity. Having support during this period will make a meaningful difference. To help ease the burden, we’re organizing a meal train so Kerri and her family don’t have to worry about cooking while she focuses on healing. Meals, gift cards, or even just messages of encouragement are all deeply appreciated. Thank you for your support, kindness, and for helping surround Kerri with care during this time.
