Hello my name Is Jasmine Townsend. I reside in Sandusky Ohio. I’m currently in my final semester of college at BGSU Firelands, earning three associate degrees—an Associate of Science, an Associate of Art, and an Associate of Technical Studies with a focus in psychology. I'm also a full-time mom of three children, ages 7, 5, and 3. My oldest has medical conditions (Cerebral Palsy, VP Shunt, ADHD, COPD,) that can be very challenging, which has shaped a lot of my strength and growth. Over the course of the past 3 years, I have earned my adult mental health certificate, I am QPR suicide prevention trained, and I am also a mental health champion. I graduate in May! I plan to move my children and I back to Taylor Michigan where I spent the early years of life allowing us to be closer to to my little brother and continue the path closer to my dreams. My mother passed away in 2015, and my biological father has NEVER been a big piece of my life. The family I will leave behind here in Sandusky... no further explanation other then it was simply my choice to not continue mending broken relationships. I plan to take my college career to the next level when I relocate to Michigan where I will earn not only my Bachelors Degree in Psychology, but I want to strive for my Masters. With everyone's support on here, getting us gift cards can make my move the easiest as possible! With it just being me and my children. A little can go along way. I appreciate everyone for following along through my journey. While it hasn't been easy, and probably wont get any easier I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! We need a fresh start! We deserve to prosper and live in an environment where we will grow and flourish.
