This page is for my mom, Brenda and if you know her, you already know she is one of the strongest, most selfless people you will ever meet. In 2026, Brenda was diagnosed with not one, but two cancers at the same time. Breast cancer which was caught early, treated with surgery in June. And basal cell carcinoma on her nose, a lesion that had been quietly growing for over a decade before anyone realized what it was. Both diagnoses came within weeks of each other, and through all of it, her first concern was never herself. It was everyone around her. On October 15th, 2026, Brenda underwent a major surgery at Cleveland Clinic (A partial rhinectomy with reconstruction to remove the remaining cancer from her nose.) The surgery went well and she is recovering, but the road ahead is long. More procedures are coming in the weeks ahead, and more medication she will have to continuously take. With this, comes a lot of unexpected costs. Brenda has spent her whole life showing up for other people. She is a mom, a wife, and the kind of person who never asks for anything. This page is our chance to show up for her.
