Everyone has a story, the story always has its sad plots and unfortunate events. Some need help, some don't. My name is Jessica and my husband is Cory. My son Darrell is 11, a type 1 diabetic and on the lower scale of the spectrum. Cory almost died 2 years ago when he contracted bacterial meningitis in his brain. He was in coma for 12 days and I thought we were going to loose him. It's a miracle that I can say that today the only thing we/I notice is his extreme memory loss. He was able to go back to work logging and I'm a student working on my associates degree for ai engineering. We get by and have never been ones to ask for a hand. We did it all on our own when Cory was recovering. We're grown ups so we do what we must to provide for our family. On sep. 2, 2025 I woke to Cory screaming the house is on fire, get out now! Pine needles on our roof caught an ember and almost completely wiped our house out. We are trying to repair the roof but with the rain there are now so many leaks and black mold is starting to grow and I'm at a loss. It's now to the point that my son's health and Cory's is at a huge risk. We really need to be able to replace the roof to our house before the snow hits. We are both hard workers who just need a miracle and I always pay it forward. Thank you for your time reading this, I mean it! Life gets busy and time is precious.
