Blake Hinson passed after a long battle with illness and finally a severe injury. This family has fought hard with quiet grace. Blake served in the US military and leaves behind his amazing wife, Jennifer, and their kids, Gage, Cody, and Charlotte. I’m so moved by the quiet strength Jennifer and the kids have shown. They are deeply rooted in their faith at Lakeshore Church and in the community. They have handled this with grace and never a word of complaint. That kind of steadfast love reflects the heart of Christ, and it’s a privilege to come alongside them now in their deepest sorrow. Now, in this sudden and shattering grief, they need the very community they’ve so faithfully served. Please pray for peace that guards their hearts, for rest in the midst of sleepless nights, and for the God who sees every tear to hold them close. If you’re able, offer a meal, a hug, help with the children, or a moment of your time. And if the Lord lays it on your heart to ease the practical weight; funeral expenses, daily needs, or unexpected gaps. Your gift, no matter the size, is an answer to prayer.
The boys are hungry teenagers but have requested no meatloaf, spaghetti, or chili please. They do not have many restrictions and are definitely a meat and potatoes family. Charlotte shared that they love Canes, Chick Fila, and Starwood cafe.
