Dana Johnson is the mother of an 8th grader at Community Roots. She is beloved by many as is her son. See below from her friend who started a Gofundme (linked on page) for Dana: ...Dana is preparing to begin chemotherapy treatment in October after being diagnosed with breast cancer. As Dana faces this difficult chapter, the road ahead brings not only physical and emotional challenges, but financial ones as well. Because Dana is going through this largely on their own, there is a very real concern about keeping up with everyday living expenses during treatment. Eileen created this fundraiser to help ease some of that burden so Dana can focus on what matters most: health, healing, and recovery. The funds raised will help cover Dana’s monthly house bills and weekly food shopping, along with essential expenses like utilities, groceries, transportation, and medical-related costs.
