Merry and Bob Barnas were involved in a serious car accident on Weds, Dec 3 on Springwood Road north of Chapel Church Road while driving home from UUCY choir rehearsal. They were taken to York Hospital and remain in the Intensive Care Unit where they are being treated for injuries. As of Sun, Dec 7, the family gave the "green light" for visitors to begin a rotation so that Merry and Bob can receive comfort and care from their friends and community. This page is intended to support this effort and allow those who love them to know how best to show up.
- York Hospital main entrance requires a photo ID upon visitor checkin. - The Surgical ICU is on the 3rd floor (use the South Elevators). - Visitation is limited to 2 visitors per room. - Merry and Bob are currently in separate rooms. - Cards, flowers, and gifts are welcome. - Smiles, songs, and good vibes are encouraged!
