Merry and Bob Barnas were involved in a serious car accident on Weds, Dec 3, 2025 on Springwood Road north of Chapel Church Road while driving home from UUCY choir rehearsal. They were taken to York Hospital for treatment of injuries. Bob Barnas’ last breath was released today, Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 3:30 in the afternoon. It was one of the deepest honors of Rev. Christin Green's ministry to receive a video call from Bob's family just twenty-four hours prior, allowing her to see his face and offer a blessing of Peace and Love. Bob died surrounded by Love with his wife, Merry, his daughters, Beth and Amy, and his grandson, Thomas, by his side. Details about ways to support Bob's family and any plans for a Memorial Service will be shared as they are available.
