There us comfort from knowing who your neighbors are. Village Together, Inc. Village Together is building a different kind of housing in Harker Heights, Texas — affordable, hotel-style community housing for low- and moderate-income families, including military and veteran families near Fort Cavazos. Instead of isolated apartments, we're creating a place where neighbors share communal dining, resident-led programs, and support that goes beyond four walls. We believe housing should do more than shelter people — it should help them thrive. That's why we're also building a Wellness Infrastructure & Research Initiative alongside the housing itself: sustainable systems, a calming acoustic environment, shared connectivity, and closed-loop resource use, all designed around the wellbeing of the families who'll call this community home. We're in the early, foundational stages — filing our formation paperwork, applying for grants, and building our board — and every bit of support helps us move closer to opening our doors. Whether it's a donation, supplies, volunteer time, or simply spreading the word, you're helping build a community, not just a building.
