In June 2025, Ashley was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 40 years old—following her very first baseline mammogram. Since then, she has shown unimaginable strength and resilience. In a matter of months, Ashley endured a double mastectomy in July, four months of one of the most aggressive chemotherapy regimens, and is now beginning hormone therapy—a treatment she will continue for the next ten years. With her next major reconstructive surgery just eight weeks away, Ashley continues the deeply personal journey of reclaiming what cancer tried to take from her. Due to the intense physical and emotional side effects of this upcoming surgery, Ashley will be forced to step away from work. Throughout every step of this journey, Dan has remained steadfastly by her side—caring for Ashley, holding their family together, and lovingly taking care of their two young girls. The purpose of this page is to help ease some of the stress and emotional burden on their family, both leading up to and following this next major surgery. Recovery is expected to take approximately 8–10 weeks, allowing Ashley the time, space, and support she needs to heal—physically, emotionally, and mentally. From the bottom of their hearts, thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered prayers, shared encouragement, donated, or supported this family in any way. Your kindness has carried them through some of their darkest days and continues to be a powerful reminder that they are not walking this journey alone. Your love and generosity truly mean more than words can express. If you would like to help in a specific way, please feel free to reach out to me, Kassie, at 📞 440-241-5331. Thank you for continuing to lift Ashley up with love, hope, and prayer as she faces the road ahead. 💕🙏 With gratitude, Kassie Federan
