My mother, Marianne, fell on Monday, July 1st, and she broke her femur. She had surgery yesterday at Marion General Hospital, and she is hoping to be discharged on Friday, July 5th to finish recovering at home. In addition, my step-father has been battling cancer for over a year now, and his chemo treatments leave him feeling very weak as well as tired. Therefore, both my mother and my step-father could use some support now as they recuperate in their home together. Please consider donating a meal or a restaurant gift card to help my parents get back on the road to recovery. Just eliminating the worry of providing dinner for themselves will help them so much!
