I want to thanks Shawna Sunrise for starting this page for me and my family. I have renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) in my right kidney that is the size of a golf ball, it started out as a growth and grew in size over the last 2 years, in June I had another CT scan and MRI and it lit up showing cancer. I will be having surgery Oct 19 at UNMH and will spend a couple days there. I will be in recovery for 4-6 weeks with minimum daily duties, so any help in meals or donation is greatly appreciated. I will not be able to do much cooking I assume, so taking it easy is a plus.my husband Travis has been able to work from home during this time to help care for me. My biggest worry is our grand boys, I usually have breakfast ready for them and dinners.if you'd like to text me in at 505-353-0387.
Here are some choices and food preferred. Chicken, beef, casseroles, pastas, rice, soups sandwiches, red/green chili. We like all sorts of foods, (no Indian food). My first week at home will require easy food, broths and soups.
