For the last 2½ years, I worked as a caregiver, helping someone with their daily needs and providing support, companionship, and care. Recently, that chapter came to an end when my client transitioned into the care of family members, leaving me unexpectedly without employment. At the same time, I've been facing housing instability, financial hardship, and the challenges that come with trying to start over. Despite everything, I continue to push forward. I've always believed in helping others, working hard, and doing what I can to improve my situation. Right now, my goal is simple: secure stable housing, meet my basic needs, find new employment, and regain the independence I've been working so hard to achieve.
