Love and Healing for Doug Stai and family after Cancer Surgery

Story

Dear family and friends. My dear husband Doug had major cancer surgery on March 2. He has been battling advanced stage colorectal cancer for a few years now. We had recently found out that the cancer had completely taken over his bladder too. During surgery they had to remove his bladder, prostrate, rectum and sigmoid colon. He has to have a colostomy for 6 months or more but his urostomy bag is permanent. Our family would welcome any help with meals or groceries during this time of recovery for him and our family. So that our family can focus on caring for him while he is home. Plus we will need to get him medical supplies that I not sure will be covered by his insurance. He needs a walker. You can send gift cards or sign up to bring or send something to us. We love you all and are so very grateful for everything.

Special Notes

He would love visitors but please no sick visitors. He has a long recovery and our focus needs to be on taking care of him. I'm still learning about what he can and cannot eat. I do know that spicy foods are not recommended. no high fiber foods.
