In an instant, everything changed for Alayna and her mom, Kimberly. They are facing the unimaginable loss of a beloved brother and son—a life taken far too soon in a tragic accident. In his 28 years, he lived a full and meaningful life, serving his country as a United States Marine and giving so much to those around him. He was deeply loved not only as a son and brother, but also as a fiancé, and a truly kind, genuine young man who meant so much to everyone who knew him. As they navigate this overwhelming grief, they are also facing the many unexpected responsibilities that come with such a sudden loss.
