Aimee is an amazing rad tech in the cath lab, who works tirelessly to provide for her family. Aimee had just taken a travel assignment and left her staff position to chase dreams and dollars on her family’s behalf and tragedy struck. Wednesday she received a crash notification from her husbands phone, couldn’t get him to pick up when she called and feared the worst. She located her husband and daughter at UK. Fortunately, her daughter escaped with minor injuries and is home safe. Her husband sustained severe injuries that could be life threatening and has a very long road ahead of him. He’s currently stable but ventilated in the Trauma ICU. Obviously, Aimee had to come back to Lexington to care for her family and support her husband through the fight of his life. She’s going to need a village to help her. She is truly an amazing human and is deserving of all the support we could possibly give her.
