Doug’s Recovery

Montpelier, VT

Story

Doug Hanson has been a valued member of the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department for 33 years serving as chief of the dept until 2 years ago when he step down to active fire fighter. He also served many years on the towns FAST squad and taught many of EMS class within our district. Doug also takes valiant care of his precious wife whom he has stood the test of times with. The love they share is a testimony to Doug and his wife as people. Right now they need us as Doug has suffered a traumatic medical event! We need to rally and help his wife and he would want and do for us. She will need meals prepared for her. Plus their beloved dog Chip will need daily care beyond what his wife can handle. We do have some of the walks that Doug took him on covered. But Maybe while dropping off food just checking in and asking if she needs anything for chip would be a huge help. At this point it is not known what will happen with Doug and we will update this site often. Again please help a local volunteer Fire fighter and his wife out in thier time of need. 11 Gaylord Drive Montpelier VT is the address for food delivery or let an organizer know if you need someone to pick it up and deliver. Thank you ❤️
