My friends, Stephanie and Billy, recently found out that he has stage 3 pancreatic cancer. This couple is already being financially devastated by the medical expenses that have barely started. While they have private insurance, there are many expenses and co-pays coming out of pocket. Billy has not been able to work since the diagnosis, and Stephanie is self-employed but has had to cut way back to take care of Billy, which is also having a major impact on them. They still have minor children at home. Sadly, this is a situation where they will be needing financial help to continue navigating this horrendous journey.
