Hello, my name is Jamie and I am a 4 year cancer fighter. Before I was diagnosed with breast cancer I worked a full time job was able to make ends meet. After being diagnosed I wasn’t able to work anymore due to all the medication I have to take in order to stay alive. I am on social Security disability now and unfortunately my entire check is used to pay my rent. I have been looking for a cheaper place to live but can’t find much cheaper then what I pay now, I’ve applied for rental assistance and income based housing but the wait lists are 5+ years. I have a car that I use to get to my doctors appointments but I’m having trouble maintaining it with my low income. Honestly anything would help, I can’t believe I’m on here asking, I’ve always been so independent. If you read this I thank you for taking the time to do so.. God bless…
