Drumming Up Support for Jim & Jean

Macon, GA

W
Story

Many of you know and love Jim—as a drummer, a quick wit, and a friend who has brought laughter and music to so many. Jim is currently facing some significant health challenges and has begun a long road of treatment and recovery. As Jim and Jean navigate this journey, we'd love to surround them with the same love and support they have given to so many others over the years. One of the best ways to help right now is by providing meals. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner deliveries will help ease the day-to-day responsibilities and allow Jim and Jean to focus on what matters most—rest, healing, and spending time together. As needs arise, we may also use this page to coordinate rides to appointments, errands, and occasional companionship with Jim so that Jean can take a much-needed break to rest and recharge. We kindly ask that visits be kept brief unless otherwise requested, as rest and quiet time are an important part of Jim's recovery. Thank you for being part of their village. Every meal, ride, prayer, message, and act of kindness makes a difference. Let's help keep the beat going for Jim and Jean.

Special Notes

To help them rest and avoid becoming overwhelmed, this meal train has been organized on select dates only. Please provide meals that can be refrigerated or frozen. We kindly ask that meals be dropped at the door (refrigerator/freezer or cooler for warm items in the garage) unless you've been invited to visit. Despite Jim's preference, the need to restrict visits is needed for his recovery. Your love and support mean so much to them.
