Thank you for taking the time to read our story. As many of you know my husband, Josh, was diagnosed with a glioma brain tumor in October, after having an MRI for an unrelated issue. He has had many other scans, tests, and Dr’s appointments since then. Fast forward to today, and we have a surgery date - January 6. He will require a craniotomy for the full removal of the tumor. After the surgery, he will need several months to recover and will be out of work (unpaid) during that time. He will likely require some combination of treatment in the following months after surgery to clear up the residual tumor cells, and will also require continuous monitoring and treatment for the rest of his life. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions. My husband is walking through one of the hardest seasons of his life, yet even in the uncertainty, we have felt God’s presence surrounding our family. Through every appointment, every waiting room, every sleepless night, the Lord has been our steady anchor. My husband continues to face each day with courage and a quiet, steadfast faith that humbles and inspires me. Josh is a loving husband, a devoted father, and the true heartbeat of our home. He is the breadwinner and the sole provider. This journey has brought challenges we never expected, emotionally, physically, and financially. We are doing everything we can to remain steadfast and keep life peaceful for our daughter. However on some days, the weight feels heavier than we can carry alone. Many of you have reached out and asked how you could help out in this time of need. Despite our typical nature to be independent and not rely on others for help, we are humbly opening this page. Whether through prayers, a small donation, or simply sharing this page, your support is a tangible reminder of the hope and optimism that we are striving so hard to carry forward. Every act of kindness lifts a little of the burden. Every prayer spoken over our family brings comfort and hope. Every message of encouragement reminds us that we are not walking this path alone. With our family, friends, and God on our side, all things are possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving our family, for standing with my husband, and for believing with us for healing, strength, and peace. May God bless you for the compassion and generosity you show. With deep gratitude and faith, Valerie & Family
