ABOUT US: My name is Ava (Quinn), I am a 20 year old transmasculine lesbian in California creating this page for my partner (Jules | 23 year old pansexual transmasculine person) & I to hopefully get some relief when it comes to finances. Our family includes of our four cats and one dog: Roxie the tuxedo cat who is 18, Vader the Russian blue cat is 12, Nova the tabby who is 2, Peach the tabby who is 1, and Penny the chihuahua pug mix who is a little over 1. AVA’S JOB SITUATION: I currently am in the process quitting my current job due to unfair wages, hours, treatment, & lack of support. This job has been affecting my mental health since December and I am getting to a point where if I continue this position, I will be doing a disservice to myself and our finances because I am not getting paid enough to handle our bills or the job load. This is creating a lot of uncertainty and with estimating unemployment benefits - it would be around 50% less than what I am currently making which would make it impossible to make certain bills & responsibilities on time.
