Share the Love for David & Emma đź’•

Story

**PLEASE do not share this page with anyone else** On Wednesday, December 18th, David was life-flighted to Shands Hospital after being bitten by a 4-foot Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake while out herping with three friends. Unfortunately, the snake spotted him first, and David didn’t see it in time to avoid the bite. The injury required immediate, life-saving care. After receiving 88 vials of antivenom, countless fluids, medications, treatments, and procedures, David is now making a slow but steady recovery. Emma has been by David’s side every step of the way, supporting him in whatever he needs, helping him navigate tough medical decisions, and communicating with doctors to ensure he’s getting the best care possible. Her love, strength, and faithfulness have been a constant source of comfort during this incredibly challenging time. David and Emma mean so much to so many of us as family and friends, and we’re all cheering them on as they navigate this road to recovery. For current updates, please follow Emma’s Instagram at @emma.lou.14.

Special Notes

Hi friends, Thank you so much for all the love, support, and care you’ve shown David and me. It truly means the world to us, and we’re so grateful to have you walking alongside us during this time. To help keep things organized and make sure visits don’t get overwhelming, we’ve created this page. David is going home today (01/02)!!! if possible, after signing up for a slot, it would be so helpful if you could text me (863-514-8051), lmk what time you signed up for, and i’ll text you our home address for visits!! <3 A lot of you have asked how you can help, and we’re so grateful for that. Right now, we’re tight on space, so food and large items aren’t ideal. A huge way to support us would be helping with expenses, which you can do through this page if you’d like. I’m trying to keep everyone updated as best as I can! I share medical updates regularly on my Instagram stories @emma.lou.14 If possible, let’s use this page to coordinate visits to keep things simple on my end. That said, feel free to text or call me if you need to. Thank you again for everything—your kindness and support mean so much to us. We’re so lucky to have you all in our corner. We thank the Lord for each and every one of you! With love, Emma
