Blessings for the Bushers was created with the sole intent of providing support and love to the Bushers family as Jason undergoes surgery on his arm from a recent injury. His surgery will be on Thursday, April 27th with plans to discharge him home that evening. They found out the recovery is going to be at least 12 months with extensive physical therapy, so let's band together, give them all the love and support, and help them get through this! With Jason out of commission and having to relearn how to perform activities of daily living with his arm in a stabilization device, Liliana will be taking some time off from work to help Jason adapt and adjust. This will obviously be a huge adjustment for their family in all areas, especially mentally, emotionally, and financially. The Bushers family is always reaching out and helping others in the community. The very least we can do is return the favor and help take some strain away by providing meals and monetary donations and by offering to assist with some of their household chores such as cleaning, mowing, doing laundry, etc. Jason and Liliana have a six-year-old daughter, Juliana, who is as rambunctious and sassy as they come. This will be a tough transition for her as well. She is involved in dance and soccer, so they may need help getting her to those practices and games... Additionally, Juliana attends a private school outside of Norman, so taking her and/or picking her up from school may be a great way to offer assistance. The Bushers family will swear up and down that they don't need help and that they are doing great -- and let me tell you, they are absolutely capable of continuing on with their normal routines as well as caring for Jason and helping with his recovery -- BUT they don't have to do this alone. Let's show them how much they mean to us and make this transition a litter easier!
