After suffering with chronic pancreatitis for two years, Cady Van Dolson Schulman is having a Whipple. No, that's not a fun sounding dessert....it's a pretty serious abdominal surgery. She will be in the hospital for nearly a week after and then have an extensive recovery at home afterwards. To help her, her smashing husband Joe and their fabulous daughter, we're starting this meal-train/donation page. As many of us don't live close enough to bring a cheese-free lasagna, this is a way to send a gift card or a note of encouragement to the family. We are also setting up an alternate way to help through the family's church. More info to come on that! As much as she loves visitors, she may not feel up to them at first, and rest is the priority until she's ready for more.
