Hi everyone, as many of you know, I recently underwent surgery that turned out to be much more extensive than planned. Due to severe adhesions, the procedure shifted from robotic to a major open abdominal surgery. I experienced some serious complications, including a ruptured tube and ovary, and required three blood transfusions. I am home now, but my mobility is very limited and I have more surgeries ahead of me. With my husband back to his 6am–8pm work schedule and traveling frequently, managing meals for the family is my biggest challenge right now.
