A Little Help Goes a Long Way After she’s discharged and back home, she’ll need plenty of rest and time to focus on recovering. Having a meal taken care of is one less thing for her to worry about during that first week. Whether you’d like to bring by a homemade meal or send a gift card for DoorDash, Grubhub, or another favorite restaurant, your support will be a huge help and greatly appreciated!
From Brandi: Thank you again so much 1. Any days are good to bring food, I have outpatient therapy 3x weekly and a lot of Drs appointments in first 2-3 weeks. 2. Sue is gluten free but is probably leaving Tuesday. So dinner for just one after Tues. 3. Love a lot of different foods. No fish please 4. I will accept anything. Gift cards are fine and only contribute if you want to. Please don’t feel obligated. One of the things that will help me heal is cooking but it will make me very tired. I can also eat frozen meals 5. After work drop offs should be fine. I should be done with all my therapies, I get very tired but after work should be great. 6. Maybe text first, if I don’t answer I probably fell asleep. But coming in is fine too, just shoot me a message first. And again, I don’t want people to feel obligated, I appreciate anything☺️ Coordination for timing can be done directly with Brandi at (616) 485-7224. Thank you!
