Love and care for the Wise/Bray family as Autumn recovers from surgery

Eugene, OR

Story

Autumn will be having a full hysterectomy on Thursday December 18th one week before Christmas. She has struggled with issues associated with this for many years, however things got really really bad in August and it has been a process to get to the actual surgery. She is looking forward to the relief everyone feels it should provide her after the healing process. Autumn had a challenging year with health after having a couple good years walking, working and feeling like she had an independent life again after the few years in the wheelchair. She got COVID fall of 2024 and just couldn't kick it. Autumn ended up taking OPL from work it was so bad. She was able to see a Rheumatologist in early 2025 who determined she was suffering from long COVID which made her have a horrible flare up of her Fibromyalgia as well. Autumn tried going back to work in February and was still extremely ill from long COVID and the Fibromyalgia flare up. Her work and her decided together it was not realistic for her to be attempting to do a job, which she loved and they loved her, however she knew she was unable to do at the time. Autumn went on unemployment. Fast forward Autumn is just finally starting to feel better and then in August 2025 all of the issues arise ( they had been there they just got unbearable) that have lead to the hysterectomy. She is often in bed for days/weeks due to horrible pain. Autumn's unemployment has run out, however she is unable to get a new job until after she heals from surgery at least 12 weeks after putting her at the end of March. Realistically fingers crossed a new job in April! Autumn needs support with dinners for her family ideally for the first month. She also needs help doing daily housekeeping such as sweeping, mopping up doggy 🐾 paw prints, loading and unloading dishwasher, laundry etc. For people who are comfortable she has two big chocolate labs Moose and Buddy who always want and need attention and will be very confused why they cannot climb all over her. There are also two ducks and 5 chickens to feed for those who might be comfortable as well, however Connolly and Dylan can always do that task. Because Autumn has not worked in over a year due to illness and surgery, if anyone is able to make a donation to help towards bills she is one to give back constantly as well. She will pay it forward as soon as she can. Texts are probably better then phone calls especially the first two weeks. Those are supposed to be the hardest. I will put an update on here after her surgery and let everyone know how it went. Thank you in advance, Autumn's Mom, Debbi, Heartsong, Beebob, BobBob
