For 15 years, Charlie Bear has been by my side through so many chapters of my life. He’s not just my dog—he’s my companion, my comfort, my little shadow, and family. Charlie is a sweet 15-year-old Peekapoo with a personality that makes it hard to believe he’s an older dog. He still has that little spark and spirit that makes him my Charlie Bear. Recently, our world changed when Charlie suffered a torn ligament. He is having difficulty getting around and needs assistance with many of the things he normally does on his own. Watching him struggle has been incredibly difficult. Right now, my biggest priority is keeping him safe, comfortable, and getting him the veterinary care he needs. Unfortunately, the cost of his treatment and recovery has created an unexpected financial burden. After 15 years of Charlie giving me unconditional love, I want to make sure I can be there for him when he needs me most.
