SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2026 At 5:00pm Mike texted Diana to tell her he could not swallow or speak. She picked him up and took him to the ER at the Washington VA Medical Center in DC. He had to write everything out for them, saying what his symptoms were and that it had happened before so it would be on his medical record. Turns out, Mike had swallowed and choked on a chicken bone, so the hospital decided to intubate him. He has been at the hospital in the ICU overnight, and we are awaiting an update.
