Hi my name is Wendy Beck and I'm 43 years old. I have been dealing with health issues for a few years now and I've recently found out what's been the cause. I have type 2 Alchlasia and it's basically my esophagus stays constricted and won't relax so my food can pass thru. Everything I eat and drink comes right back up. I've lost around 150 pounds in the last couple of years. I've been in the hospital numerous times for failure to thrive and last year I was in ICU for days I had gotten down to 65 pounds and my body was starting to shut down. I cannot work. I'm constantly starving and don't have the energy or strength to do hardly anything. Just walking 5 steps takes allot of me at times. I try to eat as much as I can to try to get something to stay down. I'm now 84 pounds and am needing surgery but I'm not healthy enough to have the surgery yet. Not being able to work has made it so hard just to survive these days. My mom helps me as much as she can but she is on a very fixed income herself. I am struggling with everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated and would be a good send.
