Hey Folx! As some of you may know, Carla Sharonda are having surgery soon and will need some help. Sharonda will be having a complete hysterectomy on 9/27 and Carla will be having bariatric surgery on 10/3. As we lean on our community’s generosity, we ask that you only do what feels good and easy for you. Our main concern at the moment is Emari being in the house so much as we are not able to drive. So if you’re heading out to the park or a movie, think about picking her up. Just to make sure she’s getting out of the house a bit.
Carla’s recovery has a very specific set of instructions. For the first few weeks, she will be on liquids only. So if you’re a human who likes making broth, feel free to jug some up.
