Two months ago, our lives changed forever. After already battling dementia, my strong, proud father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Multiple Myeloma—a rare and aggressive blood cancer. Doctors gave him six months, but he only lasted two. Watching a man who was always our rock wither away and struggle to walk was completely heartbreaking. He tried so hard to hide his pain and protect us until the very end.Now, we are facing the impossible task of planning his funeral while our resources are entirely depleted. Because I stepped away from work to care for him, everything we had has been exhausted. We are currently going into debt just to give him a proper service, and we do not have enough to cover basic bills and living expenses afterward.
