Hi everyone! As Monica and I welcome baby Lister into the world, we’re excited to be stepping into this next chapter. We wanted to lean on our community for support so Monica can rest and recover as much as possible in these early weeks. We’re planning to follow La Cuarentena, a traditional postpartum practice centered around 40 days of rest, recovery, and bonding as a new family. It’s all about slowing down, staying home, and allowing Monica the space to heal while we settle into life with our newborn. We’ve prepped some ahead of time and Monica’s parents will be with us after the first couple weeks, but we know this will be a longer journey—and we’d love to lean on you all over the first few months.
