Our family has faced more heartbreak and hardship than we ever could have imagined. Just last year, I lost one of my daughters—a pain no parent should ever have to endure. Then, my father passed away suddenly under tragic circumstances involving suspected foul play, leaving our family devastated and searching for strength to keep going. We also lost our home in a fire, taking away the place where our children felt safe and secure. After 13 years together, my husband and the father of my children left, and I am now doing everything I can to raise our seven children and a grandbaby on my own. I am asking for help so I can provide stable housing, food, clothing, school essentials, and the basic needs my children and grandchild deserve.
