We are so excited to welcome sweet Julietta Ruth Ashmore to the family! She was born August 12 at 5:33 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. and measuring 20.75 inches long. Hunter and Mallory's journey to parenthood has been a long one, and Etta Ruth’s arrival came in the most unexpected and beautiful way. On what started as a completely normal Wednesday morning, they received a life-changing phone call: a baby girl had just been born, and they had been chosen to be her parents. By the end of the day, they were Mom and Dad! Because everything happened so quickly, they had very little time to prepare for bringing a newborn home. As they settle into life as a family of three, we would love to surround them with support and give them more time to focus on bonding with and caring for their new daughter. One of the simplest and most helpful ways we can love on them right now is by keeping them well fed!
