Our family is going through an incredibly difficult and unexpected time. Peter is currently in the ICU after a sudden medical emergency and is in critical condition. With how sudden and unexpected this has been, we are now facing the challenge of figuring out how everything will be paid for while also trying to be realistic about what lies ahead. He has been on disability with limited income and does not have life insurance. He leaves behind his daughter and 19-month-old granddaughter, who he loved dearly. His daughter is currently not working as she is home caring for her child, who has had ongoing medical needs since birth, making this situation even more difficult.
