On September 17th our friend, loved one and family member, Tessa Markowski, went in for a long overdue spinal surgery, and unfortunately things didn’t go as smoothly as planned. Over the course of the last couple of weeks Tessa has experienced a stroke leaving her semi-paralyzed on her right side, blood clots, low blood pressure and a host of other health concerns. All of this has taken Tessa from surgical floor, to ICU and now into a rehabilitation center where she receives intensive physical and occupational therapy to regain her mobility. Tessa is expected to return home with part-time home health aide as well as continued physical and occupational therapy on or about October 7th, 2026. We set up this page to help coordinate friends and family that could help with a meal train, gift cards or other needs via one page. Your support is so very appreciated!
