On Thursday, February 26th, Zander was involved in a horrific car accident and was life-flighted to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, where he was rushed straight into emergency surgery. Zander suffered multiple serious injuries. Thanks to the incredible medical team and a few surgeries, many of those injuries have been repaired, but he still has a long road to recovery ahead. There are many medical details that have been posted by his parents and will continue to update had his recovery go on. Zander is a strong, determined young man, and we have no doubt he will fight his way through this. He is kind-hearted, smart, funny, and incredibly hardworking. At just 16 years old, he worked constantly, saving every single penny for his own car. That’s just the kind of young man he is — responsible, driven, and full of goals. During times like these, the emotional and physical toll is overwhelming, and the financial burden can quickly add up. We are asking our community to come together and surround this wonderful family with love and support.
