Supporting Chris's Glioblastoma Journey

Story

Hello to everyone! In March of 2021 Chris was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is a rare, terminal brain cancer. Chris's tumor was located deep in his left parietal lobe. He had surgery, had about 90% of his tumor removed. Due to his surgery he has permanent right side weakness. He hasn't been able to drive since the day before we found out about his devastating diagnosis. He has had seizures, chronic headaches, short term memory and confusion. On January 6, 2023, we made the hard decision to start hospice care. Chris is having a lot of decline and the only treatment options he has left, he has done before. This treatment had very harmful effects on him. Since going on hospice, his balance has declined significantly and he now uses a walker full time. In April of 2022 I had quit my job to help take care of him. This was the beginning of multiple seizures and falls. We appreciate any and all help, from prayers first to walking our beloved dog for 20 minutes. Meals, gift cards and money are greatly appreciated too!

Special Notes

Chris doesn't handle spicy foods very well these days. We love most food categories!
